Wedding Ideas & Inspiration ... A Green Theme

Welcome back to the second in a series of blog posts by Wedding Sparrow. You may have noticed recently that Wedding Sparrow had some big news… Well, I must confess. It has certainly been a weight off this sparrow’s mind putting the blog on hold for the foreseeable future. You see, with writing a daily blog, working a full-time job like everyone else and planning the wedding of the century (!), it was all a bit much. I was enjoying immensely the pressure and researching part of the blog but when you put all of your energy into one aspect of your life and want it to do well, it is inevitable that other areas of your life are not focussed on as much as they should be.

Being a perfectionist, I want to return to Wedding Sparrow with a business plan, better website and some experience of an actual wedding! So, the plan for the time being is to set about organising my own wedding with no distractions and then to return to the world of Wedding Sparrow with a renewed sense of the wedding world! Alas, I am never far away from dipping my toe back into the wedding world as I will still be writing guest posts for the lovely Candice here at Cerendipity.

With the vast majority of our major bookings done and dusted for the wedding now, we are looking into the smaller aspects of the day. Regular readers of Wedding Sparrow know that I am of the opinion that details maketh the wedding. Shallow? Perhaps. Attention to detail I prefer to think.

My list of what makes the perfect wedding seems to be endless. It does, however, include the following; graphically designed stationery, personalised cocktails as reception drinks, chiavari chairs, a sweet and dessert table, white flowers and fairy lights in trees. Take a look at this…

Swoon.

Much love.
