Speaking of Mr Sparrow, he has his stag do in six weeks and is pretty much all sorted in terms of outfit etc. For those of you who already read Wedding Sparrow you’ll know that Mr Sparrow will be wearing a three piece grey suit on the big day. In honour of groom style and the new resident Groom blogger on Cerendipity By Me, here’s a few ideas on what your man can wear on the day…

If your man is anything like Mr Sparrow he will like the plainer things in life. That’s not to say he likes boring clothing per se it’s just that he prefers a look that is less likely to go out of fashion within the next five years. Greys and ivories are the colours of choice for him with a hint of green with his succulent buttonhole.

For the more formal wedding affair {maybe you’re getting wed in a major city or in the evening} a tuxedo makes a man look like James Bond for the day. Venues like luxury hotels {think Claridges and The Ritz} are synonymous with dapper looking grooms. It’s all about the detail when you go all out like this so make sure your man has brand new shoes and classic cufflinks too.

For the more adventurous groom a pastel suit would be perfect for a summer fete styled vintage wedding. For the less adventurous but looking for something different groom, try a patterned floral tie to brighten up his suit.
All this talk on shopping is making me want to spend my wedding savings! Drop me a comment on what your fiancé will be wearing on the day. How adventurous is he going?
Much love
